Isaac Morgan

Founder/President

Isaac Morgan grew up loving Christmas. As he got older, he discovered and loved an idea that is now known as "Cosplay" as evident with his desire to dress up as comic book heroes such as Batman, or to paint his face like professional wrestlers such as Sting and the Road Warriors. Isaac always knew he wanted to make an impact in people's lives and his community, or to be known for being a character... but he never would have thought the character would have been Santa until he put on the suit to honor his Uncle's last wish for him, or when he met who became known as his Ellie Elf, Ellie Washington.

As a Founding Father of the Epsilon Mu Chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity at Marshall University in Huntington, WV, Isaac has learned multiple skills that will help the Nice List strengthen the community and expand the Nice List state-wide and eventually on a national level. Learning from his father his work ethic, Isaac has consistently worked 50-65 hours at his "normal job" during the holidays and completed every promised Santa event along with taking what little personal time he has to edit videos and pictures, update the website, and work on sponsorships and donations for the organization year round. This of course doesn't include putting on "the suit" for several hours every day he has off for events if needed. Isaac prides himself on the fact that he has only cancelled events one year... the year that his Father died on Black Friday.

"This is my legacy. It wasn't in God's plans for me to be a father to a child, but I really feel like his plan for me was to ensure children remain happy and loved... especially during the holiday season. Hopefully when God says my time on Earth is over... I will be remembered as one of Santa's Helpers."

David Humphreys

Vice President

David Humphreys is a graduate of Marshall University with over 15 years of experience in advertising and marketing for the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia. During this time, he has encountered countless youths who were dealt a bad hand in life through no fault of their own. After years of seeing the agency receive Christmas wishlists from children that include necessities like hygiene items and witnessing tweens and teens frequently overlooked in donations, he has made it his mission in life to ensure that as many children as possible get to enjoy the magic of Christmas and know that they are loved and cared for.

As David often says, “no kid should have to ask Santa for shampoo.”

David has been heavily involved with charitable cosplay groups for over a decade, including time spent managing the Ghostbusters - West Virginia Division, who held year-long toy drives and annual around-the-clock Thanksgiving week shopping marathons to fulfill the Christmas lists for kids in need. He is also the convention chair for Mountain State Pop Expo, a yearly comic and toy show where 100% of the proceeds directly benefit youth at Christmas time.

David hopes to use his advertising, marketing, fundraising, and event planning experience to further the mission of this organization and help make sure the only thing West Virginia’s kids have to worry about is staying on Santa’s nice list.
